Our Story
We started Wisdom because we lived what so many families live: juggling kids, careers, and the quiet worry about our parents living alone. We didn’t want to take away their independence, but we needed better tools to help support it.
Wisdom combines simple, discreet technology with thoughtful alerts, so older adults feel secure, and loved ones feel more at ease.
Founded by Cathy Minter and Dawn Newsome, daughters, caregivers, and tech leaders with a shared mission to make aging at home safer, smarter, and more supported.
We realized more of our conversations kept circling back to the same thing: our parents. Who was checking on them? Were they okay alone? Were we doing enough? When Cathy’s father passed and Dawn’s dad needed surgery, the gaps became clear. So did the opportunity.
We didn’t need another complicated system. We needed quiet confidence, something our parents wouldn’t resist, and we could trust.
That’s what Wisdom is: discreet, smart, and built with empathy from the inside out.
